Assam Rifles Conducted Medical Camp

Assam Rifles recently organized a medical camp for the students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya School, Umathel of Thoubal District.

Two Medical Officers and Paramedical staff attended 430 students.

Rahul Gandhi Meets JNV Students

Congress general secretary and MP from Amethi Rahul Gandhi Monday attended a meeting of Students and self help group of the women of the block in the Navodaya Vidyalaya for about an hour.

Gandhi, who is on a three-day visit to his constituency, made unannounced visits to the villages.

During his three-day stay in Amethi, Gandhi will inaugurate a school and attend the certificate distribution programme of a local branch of the IITA..

Navodaya Vidyalaya Students Campaign : Swine Flue Awareness

Navodaya Vidyalaya Varanasi students and BHU-IT students organised a Swine flu awareness and medical camp-cum-health programme in Varanasi.

BHU-IT students from Kashi Utkarsh BHU explained the importance of education to poor kids in slums, participated in the cleanliness drive to emphasise upon the significance of hygiene and sanitation to prevent the spread of disease, as many as two doctors from the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, also took part in the free health check up programme for poor children and local natives on the occasion.

Navodaya Students took up the initiative and helped BHU-IT in organising the event, they distributed hand-outs and spread awareness about Swine Flue
