JNV Jhansi Teacher wrote book on Dhyanchand
Adolf Hitler was stunned by Dhyanchand's performance in 1936 berlin Olympics.
Hitler was so upset by Dhyanchand and his younger brother Roop singh's performace that he left the match midway as German team was shattered by Dhyanchand's Hockey skills. Hitler later offered him a General's position.
Ashok Kumar, Son of Hockey Wizard Dhyanchand got overwhelming response at 1972 Munich Olympic, he said an old man in stretcher came to visit him and said "I am a big fan of your father. I saw him play in Berlin in 1936 and when I heard that his son has come here, I decided to meet you."
Ashok did shared this experience in book "Hockey Ka Jadugar" written by Meena Umesh, Dhyanchand's Daughter-In-Law and History teacher at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Jhansi.
Sports minister M.S. Gill was chief guest at the book inauguration ceremony.
