IIM topper Navodian sets green example

Kaushilendra from Patna is the 2007 batch topper of the IIM, Ahmedabad - Most prestigious management Institute in India.

Kaushilendra choose not to venture in suit-boot in corporate, instead he became a vegetable vendor to earn money and ensure poor Indians can get quality product and farmers can get their realistic prices.

His Innovation, "Light pushcart" is made of fibre, pushcart can carry almost 200 kg and keeps vegetables fresh for six days - ice cool.

With a built in computerised weighing machine, farmers can guarantees a proper calculation.

Kaushilendra is applauded by the initial response, this proud Navodian is now the owner of 50 such carts that are selling vegetables.

Kaushalendra was born to a modest vegetable farmers' family in central Bihar's Ahmad Nagar village (Nalanda).

He joined Navodaya Vidyalaya in Nawada to complete his high school, he cleared CAT and moved to IIM, Ahmedabad.

100 per cent results soon by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya's Class 10th and Class 12th results have been constantly improving since the past five years.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is now approaching target of 100 per cent pass percentage in all its schools across the state.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) started its journey back in 1985-1986 in Amaravati , and after 3 months it was started in JNV Jhajhaar from (Hariyana). These Schools are the brainchild of late PM mr. Rajiv Gandhi.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Students are Gifted, and are better as compared to rest of the CBSE / KV / Private Schools across India.

In recent Central Board of Secondary Examinations (CBSE) Results of Class 10th and Class 12th, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Students have topped the chart and secured 96-97 % Pass Ratio, in class 10th results 40 per cent got distinctions (those who score above 75 per cent marks get distinction).


It is to be noted that most of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country have secured cent percent results (100% pass ratio), the reason for this is quality teaching and remedial classes, and most of the credit goes to the residential techers, who are always there to help students.

In the last five years, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas has always secured Top position for CBSE Class 10th Results.

CBSE Results - JNV Maithon Students Shines

A dairy farmer of Katras would have never throught that his son Rajguru Dikshit, a JNV Maithon (Dhanbad) Student can crack the CBSE exam with 94.6 per cent marks.

This board exam was first for the Students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (Maithon), Rajguru topped the chart.

However his dream of becoming an IITian may remain unfulfilled because of poverty.

Rajguru scored 99 in both maths and social science, 93 in both English and Hindi, 89 in science and 87 in information technology.

Everyone knows the streangth of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, and JNV Maithon is no exception, this year, when the first board examination was held, 36 students passed the CBSE exams. Students scored an average of 77.13 per cent in English. Of 36, 34 passed with a first division and five students got over 90 per cent.
