Rahul Gandhi's Advice to JNV Students

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Gaurisgan students got a new Answer for all their questions, and the answer was "Ask questions"

All India Congress Committee general secretary Rahul Gandhi addressed a gathering of JNV Students on Friday, JNV Gaurisgan belongs to his Parliamentary constituency Amethi.

Rahul Gandhi also inaugurated the regional kabaddi meet on the school campus.

Muslim Girl Forced Out of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya

Recent Navodaya News could be the "Food for Vote" for so called secular politicians.

A Muslim Girl named "Farhana Parveen" had to leave Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Singhbhoomi (Jamshedpur) as her fellow students isolated her, because she was muslim.

Few teachers and classmates also kept telling her how a Muslim girl could stay there alone. All fellow girl students tortured her by calling her a 'Pathan'.

Farhana stayed in school for a fortnight and now does not want to go back.


Pension Scheme fro JNV Staff

On Thursday, Government decided to amend the Payment of Gratuity Act to Teachers.

In another decision, the Cabinet gave its nod for introduction of a new Pension Scheme to all regular employees of the Navodaya Vidyalayas. The new scheme would come into effect after the date of notification.

The JNV employees would have the option to go in for the new scheme or continue with the existing Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) scheme. In case the employee joins the new scheme, the accumulated amount in his or her CPF account would be transferred to pension fund under the new scheme.

The service of all new Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti employees will become pensionable.
