NRI Provides IIT Training for JNV Jharkhand

Forty selected students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Jharkhand are being trained for a 2 year free residential IIT coaching programme, thanks to an NRI, Mohinish Oberoi, based in the US as he donates 2 per cent grant from his salary.

Mohinish adopted the JNV school and decided to financially support intelligent but economically poor students.

His Non-Profit Organization "Dakshina Foundation" has ties with a coaching institute to train Class XI students. also the chosen students has family income less then Rs 3,000 per month.

Principal feels that it will be great honour if these students crack IIT next year. Also during the training, the teachers of JNV are motivating the students to be self-dependent and giving them necessary guidelines to solve difficult tasks by themselves.
