A new common digital portal for 565 Navodaya Vidyalaya schools across the country will soon be online,
This will take load off from teachers and help students to interact with fellow students across schools.
A N Ramachandra Rao, deputy commissioner NVS announced the news on wednesday.
Rao explained how schools will be benefited when all schools are involved in a common objective, teachers might not give individual assignments, unit test and can schedule discussions with other schools. This portal will be made accessible to all teachers across 565 schools.

The Navodaya Vidyalaya schools are affiliated to the CBSE. Established with the purpose of giving talented children from rural areas.
This software called "CenterPoint" is designed by Chennai-based Ventech Solutions.
The company will also provide a software called "Gateway" for teachers of class XII to help frame question banks.
A total of 30,000 questions would be fed into the computer for Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Biology.
On specifying the duration of a test, the software would generate a set of multiple choice questions that students can answer repeatedly.
